The Oakville Public Library has created a unique way to explore the outdoors this winter: a self-guided book walk! Enjoy the trail, and scan QR codes for reading recommendations while enjoying a story as you walk.

Skiing at Mount St. Louis

Near the historic city of Barrie, Mount St. Louis features 36 trails, from beginner-friendly to black diamond thrills for seasoned ski veterans, with some of Ontario’s best skiing conditions.

Sledding at Cedarvale Park

All winter long!

Nothing says winter like going sledding, sliding, tobogganing — whatever you call it, it’s a fun outdoor activity for the whole family (and good exercise, too!) Cedarvale Park is perfect for a day of speeding downhill; maybe grab a hot chocolate afterwards!
